Soap suds were flying last weekend as the fabulous team at Kwik Car Wash in Parker, CO teamed up with The Pooch Mobile to wash cars and canines in aid of Colorado Service Dogs
It wasn’t just the cars that were getting a bath at Kwik Car Wash, Parker last Saturday.
“The Dog Days of Summer” event included a Doggie Washathon by The Pooch Mobile team who took part with four of their mobile hydrobathing units to shampoo these pampered pets.
The hydrobath sprays pressurized warm fresh water through the pooch’s coat from a shower head providing a thorough clean which gets right down into the dogs coat and gives an invigorating massage. This also helps to alleviate that “wet dog” smell you sometimes get from other forms of bathing.
This stellar service from The Pooch Mobile is available throughout Denver.
Give them a call and they’ll come right to your door!
Kwik Car Wash was packed with generous vendors, who turned out in support of Colorado Service Dogs, to give out cool freebies to hot customers and collect donations for a worthy cause.
There were plenty of treats at hand for people and pups, provided by:
- Parker Feed & Western Supply
- The Bear & The Rat “Cool Treats for Dogs”
- Cold Stone Creamery of Parker
- Kunjani Coffea
Thanks for all the yummy giveaways!
The event raised $778 for Colorado Service Dogs!
The Colorado Service Dogs and their human trainers were on hand at the event, to introduce their sweet dogs and inform the public about their important work.
The CSD volunteers train and provide dogs to assist people with disabilities to enrich their lives at work, home or school. These dogs become an extension of their owners and bring security, freedom, independence, and relief from social isolation to their human partners.
The July fundraiser was such a success, we’re doing another one in August!
