Paws & Read and PAWsitive Pet Sitting www.pawsitivepetsit.com hosted our first Yappy Hour on Sunday at the swanky Skye Urban Flats in downtown Denver.
Dog owners and their canine companions enjoyed some delights from our vendors. Folks got to see the benefits of clicker training cats and dogs from Petiquette. Owner Matt Levien specializes in resolving issues such as house soiling, aggressive behavior, and disobedience. It was fun to watch his extremely obedient dog demonstrate various tricks to the click!
The exceptionally well renowned Sky Heartsong thewingsoflight.com provided animal communication and Lori Beuerle of CRCG www.dog-swim.com provided information about the benefits of canine physical therapy, weight management, water therapy. Helen Pavlac of Whiskered Paintings www.helenpavlac.com showcased some of her stunning water colors, sketches, cards and even holiday ornaments – all dedicated to dogs!
No pups went hungry as Jeff Sutherland of Deserving Dog www.deservingdog.com served up scrumptious gourmet style cuisine; delighting dogs with his chicken & brown rice and beef & potato dishes. Who wouldn’t be tempted – especially as Deserving Dog will deliver!
Proceeds raised from the event were donated to the Humane Society of the South PLatte Valley.
Yet another super fun Paws & Read event for a good cause.
